PET protective film is the most common protective sticker on the market at present. It has a relatively hard texture and is relatively scratch-resistant. Moreover, it will not turn yellow and oily like PVC material for a long time. Therefore, it is widely used in digital product protection, Automobiles, mobile phones, etc.
Now introduce the common problems and solutions in the use of PET protective film:
1. During transportation and use, the PET protective film and the protected product are not firmly pasted and fall off. , This is because the viscosity of the sensitive adhesive used in the production of PET protective film products is not enough. There is also a possibility that the pressure of the pressing machine used by the user is not enough when applying the mold, or the surface of the profile is not clean. Dust or paint, etc., affect the sticking effect of the sensitive adhesive! If this problem occurs, it is necessary to target the cause, take the right medicine, replace the sensitive adhesive, increase the pressure of the film, or pay attention to the surface of the profile when the film is applied. Effective cleaning to avoid this class problems arise.
Good stability, the viscosity is not easy to change after high and low temperature, the appearance has no bubbles, and it is easy to cut and punch without leaving glue residue.
2. The two ends of the PET protective film will be finned after a period of use. The main reason for this phenomenon is that the protective film is stretched to a large extent during the pasting process with the protected profile. In the environment, unnecessary retraction occurs. This problem mostly occurs in the products of southern customers. Therefore, the PET protective film should pay attention to the impact of the environmental temperature difference on the use of the product during the production process, and avoid unnecessary during the pasting process. Surface stretch.
3. The PET protective film will have a degumming problem. This problem is most reflected in the profile protective film. When the user tears the protective film off the surface of the profile after the installation and construction of the profile is completed, the adhesive displayed by the protective film does not follow the protection. The film is left on the profile product, which is the last thing users want to see, because it is very troublesome and requires a special person to cut the glue off the profile, which is particularly labor-intensive and time-consuming. There are many possibilities for this problem to occur. The biggest possibility is that the pressure glue used for the protective film product does not meet the regulations, that is, it is too sticky, resulting in the PE protective film product being peeled off, the external tension is greater than the internal negative force, and it remains on the profile. If the user has this kind of problem, you can use a clean cloth to dip a little alcohol, and wipe the residual sensitive adhesive repeatedly until the sensitive adhesive is wiped clean, but it should be noted that when wiping, do not overdo it. Use force, otherwise it may affect the finish of the profile product.
4. The PET protective film is difficult to peel off. When the profile product is peeled off after installation, the protective film cannot be peeled off effectively. There are two reasons for this. One is that the sensitive adhesive used in the protective film product is not a special sensitive adhesive for protective film. If so Of course, the protective film works very well when it is pasted, but it is very difficult to peel off. This is also the most common problem with protective films produced by some illegal PET protective film product manufacturers. Another possibility is that The material used for the protective film master tape is too soft to withstand the pulling force during peeling, and it breaks during peeling, which is a very headache for users.
5. After the PET protective film is peeled off, there will be protective film performance words left on the surface of the profile. This problem often occurs on some low-grade protective film products. This is because the protective film is combined with the protected profile. There is a kind of chemical effect that occurs in the right environment such as sunlight and moisture. At present, there is no good way to avoid this chemical effect, because there is no regularity in its recurrence, so at present this problem has not been solved. Good way to avoid birth!
Transparent and colorless, high hardness, excellent scratch and wear resistance, no glue residue
The poor quality of the PET protective film can cause this. First, the pressure-sensitive adhesive used in the protective film does not meet the requirements. The technical requirements cannot be met in terms of formulation and process implementation. The peeling force is greater than the cohesive force; the second is that the corona strength of the base material used for the protective film cannot meet the requirements. Generally, the surface tension of the substrate is required to be between 3840dyn. If it is too small, the peeling force of the protective film will be greater than the adhesive force, resulting in degumming. If such problems occur, it is recommended that the profile manufacturer do the following: Use a clean rag dipped in an appropriate amount of organic solvent such as ethanol, ethyl ester, toluene, etc. to wipe. This sometimes brings about a problem, that is, the surface finish of the profile will be damaged to a certain extent after wiping with a solvent. The remedy: wipe it with a soft dry cloth several times to restore the finish.
